Can ranger pets pick up aggro? - Guild Wars Forums

As my first post, I hope I made this thread in the right section, as I couldn't find a specific class forum.

Anyways, I was wondering if there is a way to have your pet get the enemy's aggro in pve. Whenever I send my pet in to attack, the enemy will start attacking me most of the time instead. I'm guessing that since you are able to fire your bow from up close, ANet didn't see the need for you to be not be attacked.

If anyone has any information to this, answers are appreciated and I thank all of you in advance

most of the time pets aggro enemies but it doesnt mean they wont still attack you. they just choose who to attack.

Wow that was a fast reply.

Your idea makes sense to me though, because most of the time the monster attacks me, but not all the time.
